The man who admitted to setting a St. Paul mosque on fire last week also told investigators he was behind a recent burglary of a downtown restaurant, criminal charges say.Said Murekezi (Courtesy of Ramsey County sheriff’s office)Said Murekezi, 42, now faces a third-degree burglary charge for breaking into Lost Fox in the early morning hours of April 28, causing about $5,000 in damage and stealing money and liquor.According to Tuesday’s criminal complaint, officers were sent to the restaurant at 213 E. Fourth St. in Lowertown on a burglary alarm around 4:40 a.m. They found a storefront window and a front door window shattered. A large brick was on the ground. Glass at the Urban Wok next door also was broken.The owner of Lost Fox Kitchen arrived at the business. She told police that change from all three cash register drawers had been stolen, as well as a bottle of top-shelf whiskey. The Twins placed an 11th player on the disabled list on Tuesday when Trevor Larnach was diagnosed with pneumonia. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On May 7, Environmental Conservation Officer Shaw responded to a complaint about a turkey hunter on posted property in Fulton County. The complaint alleged that the hunter had shot the turkey near a residence and went on private property to retrieve the bird. The hunter told ECO Shaw that he didn't think that this was a big deal as the turkey "flopped" onto the posted property after he shot it. ECO Shaw located the shell casings and determined the hunter was around 225 feet away from the residence when he fired his gun. Ski season is winding down for the last two Colorado ski areas remaining in operation, soon to end what has been a spectacular snow year for many resorts. Winter Park, which has been operating out of its Mary Jane base, announced on Wednesday that it will shut down on Memorial Day. Also on Wednesday, A-Basin announced it will close on June 4.“The melt-off has accelerated, so we won’t make it to June,” said Jen Miller, as spokesperson for Winter Park, which runs Mary Jane. “Monday will mark the end of our longest winter season ever, 211 days of skiing and riding. Rocky Mountain National Park’s timed-entry reservation system goes into effect on Friday, and other seasonal reservation requirements on public lands will follow soon.The Mount Evans Road and the entry gate to the Brainard Lake Recreation Area are still closed, but when they open, reservations will be required. Mount Evans could open as soon as this weekend.Weekend reservations for parking at Eldorado Canyon State Park went into effect last weekend.
